Google's Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones are huge launches for the company. Not only because it represents a major update in both mobile design and software, but also because it has become among the best-selling Pixel phones to date.

As for pricing, it's about the same price as the Pixel 5a when it launched in 2021: $449 / £399 / €459. It's much cheaper than the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, and has many of the same capabilities and power.

Pixel 6a has dimensions of 152.2 x 71.8. * 8.9 mm, which is slightly smaller than the Pixel 6 which measures 158.6 x 74.8 x 8.9 mm. It offers Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and a "3D thermal composite" on the back - which is kind of plastic for you and me.
durability ?
The phone comes with an IP67 water and dust resistance rating, which is not far behind the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro (both boast IP68 water and dust resistance).

The Google Pixel 6a comes in three attractive dual-tone colors: black / gray, white / cream and green, as shown in the image above.

The phone offers 60Hz refresh rates, which is a bit far from some of the fastest 90Hz and 120Hz panels we've seen in recent phones. There are now phones with these faster refresh rates in this price bracket, so this is a slight negative.
The Pixel 6a's display has a 20:9 panel with HDR support, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 24-bit/16M color coverage as well.

The Google Pixel 6a will include a similar camera setup as the Google Pixel 5 phone, and thus, the Google Pixel 5a 5G. While the Pixel 5's camera is great, it's a little different from previous "a" series phones. Previously, the "a" series was all about delivering the flagship Pixel camera experience in a mid-range device.
There is a 12.2MP main camera, along with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera on the Pixel 6a, as well as an 8MP front camera. Specs are one thing, features are another.
Experience ?
Like the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, the system is able to give you some great - almost magical - features. This means that you get features like Magic Eraser to remove unwanted objects in the background, Real Tone to ensure all skin tones are displayed accurately and Face Unblur which basically means no blurry selfies.

You get 4K recording at up to 60fps, slow motion at up to 240fps, and 4K choppy shooting functionality with stabilization.
